When and where is the event?
The next event is scheduled for May 23, pending funding. The venue will be announced on our site and socials. Join the list to be notified first.
Is the event free?
Yes, the Black Girl Magic Day event is completely free to attend.
What ages is the event for?
Programs are centered around girls ages 6 to 15. Activities, vendors, and performances are designed for this age group.
How can my child perform?
We welcome singing, dancing, and poetry. Sign up using our Performer Sign-Up Form.
Can my child be a youth vendor?
Yes! We encourage young entrepreneurs to showcase their work. Apply here: Youth Vendor Sign-Up.
What is the Awards Ceremony?
The event will feature an Awards Ceremony celebrating girls’ achievements. Teachers and parents may nominate children via our upcoming Awards Nomination Form.
Will there be guest speakers?
Yes, the event will feature guest speakers, including voices on youth empowerment and mental health. If you’d like to apply to be a guest speaker, please check: Speaker Application Form (coming soon).
How do I volunteer?
