PILOT A mentorship program pairing older students with younger girls for 30-minute virtual check-ins focused on homework help, encouragement, and confidence-building.

Heads up: This is a pilot program. No official start date is set yet. We’re collecting registrations to understand community demand and design the best experience. Program Snapshot

Format: 30-minute virtual sessions (Zoom/Google Meet)
Cadence: Weekly or bi-weekly during the pilot
Pairing: Interests, subjects, and availability
Term: Target ~3 months for pilot cohort

Safety & Standards

Parent/guardian consent required for mentees
Use approved platforms only; no personal DMs
Parents can drop in or observe any session
Flag concerns to staff immediately

Mentor Expectations

Show up consistently and on time
Keep conversations age-appropriate, respectful, and positive
Prioritize encouragement and progress over perfection
Follow the Mentor Handbook and orientation guidance

Mentee Experience

Warm check-in, focused homework support, and uplifting close
Simple goals and quick wins each session
Parent visibility and open communication
